TRAILERS FROM HELL

I’ve been off and about and having one of the best weekends of my life (See my last post for some clue of with whom). I stumbled across this killer site called TRAILERS FROM HELL while perusing a favorite site of mine, DE PALMA A LA MOD. TRAILERS FROM HELL is the brainchild of film director Joe Dante, new media entrepreneur Jonas Hudson, graphic artist Charlie Largent and producer Elizabeth Stanley. The series was born out of their mutual love of classic films of all types, but particularly horror and exploitation films.

Joe Dante you will recall is the director behind such classics as Piranha (1978), The Howling (1981), Explorers (1985), Gremlins (1984) and INNERSPACE (1987). His career seems to have gone into STDVD land but I can’t deny my love for the aforementioned films.

TRAILERS FROM HELL is a Documentary, directed by Dante and and Mick Garris who has written, directed and produced so many classic and genre films; see his profile here:
